Indianapolis Colts: When the Indianapolis Police Athletic League nearly had a portion of its youth football program sidelined after $1,000 worth of its football equipment was stolen last week, the Colts heard the news and gave the league a blank check to replace its lost belongings. "They stepped up in this case and proved they are community leaders," Police Athletic League executive director Scott Taylor told the Indianapolis Star. "This is not something they had to do. This is not something anybody had to do." Maybe it was a ply to generate good will in his attempt to get a new stadium funded, but it was still a nice gesture no matter the motivation.
