Class, dignity and skill define de Ferran

When Jim Hall tested Gil de Ferran in his Champ Car during the summer of 1994, none of us had ever heard of this kid with the unusual name. The accompanying press release mentioned he'd won the British Formula 3 title for Paul Stewart Racing so I dialed up Jackie Stewart to get the scoop.
