Cubs-Red Sox 1918: Were you there?
On Sept. 11, 1918, the Red Sox defeated the Cubs, 2-1, in the sixth and deciding game of the World Series.
With this victory, Boston ran its title tally to five, compared to two for the Cubs.
Little did these two franchises know that 85 years later, they would each still be looking for their next world championship.
