ESPN baseball analyst Tony Gwynn answers three key hitting questions as the World Series shifts to Miami for Games 3, 4 and 5.

1. How can the Yankees defend against Juan Pierre?
I'm not sure they can. The New York Yankees have brought the corner infielders in and their middle infielders closer, and Florida Marlins leadoff man Juan Pierre still gets on base. He's a great bunter, but he doesn't have to bunt all the time to rattle the opposing defense. He also can swing the bat with success.
