Editor's note: This is the third in a series previewing the top NFL prospects by position for the 2004 draft.

Many of the elite receivers over the last decade, certainly in recent years, seem to have a common trait -- a monster ego that demands attention. Michael Irvin, Keyshawn Johnson, Cris Carter, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens. Their swaggers are undeniable, extending beyond confidence and often well beyond arrogance.

Many of today's top young receivers, embracing the attitude and style of the NFL's superstar receivers, are looking to fit the cocky, in-your-face mold. Texas senior Roy Williams is not as brash as Owens or Johnson, but Williams could be the next star receiver to add his name to the NFL's growing list.
