Boxing entails a simple truth: assert your will over another man and you win. Over the course of a fight, a boxer's will customarily manifests itself in various forms -- technical skill, superior strength, brute force. Yet occasionally it's exposed in a singular moment, say, when a fighter is floored and somehow rises, or when he is hurt but finds the fortitude to win, or when he has hurt his opponent and instinctively finishes him off. That moment offers a glimpse into a man's character, one that makes you gasp, one you'll never forget, because it's raw truth.
