All hail Clinton Portis! The Denver running back can now claim the greatest fantasy single-game performance since the AFL/NFL merger. I know this because I did the research last season after Seattle RB Shaun Alexander scored five touchdowns against Minnesota in Week 4. At that time, Alexander tied a 1990 Jerry Rice performance for the top individual fantasy game with 52 FFL traditional points. Portis' effort on Sunday was worth 54 points. And for a very high percentage of his fantasy owners, it was worth a first round lead in the two week FFL semifinal playoffs. Take a look:
