A closer look at a few rosters teams entering the playoffs gives new meaning to the word "teamwork." Role players abound on successful teams, and this year is no exception.

Everybody needs guys who do the dirty work. They are the guys who don't get measured by statistics or media hype. The guys in the locker rooms know who they are. They have the respect of their teammates and coaches and are invaluable this time of year. They are the guys who don't have a job description; they just know what to do and how to get it done.

I see two teams at opposite ends of this spectrum that make a case in point.
