Minnesota to receive draft picks

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild traded defenseman Brad Bombardir and center Sergei Zholtok to the Nashville Predators on Friday for third- and fourth-round picks in the 2004 draft.

Bombardir and Zholtok, both 31, are scheduled to be unrestricted free agents after the season ends.

Zholtok led the Wild in goals (13) and was third in scoring (29 points) in 59 games this season. The Latvia native tallied 110 points in 210 games with Minnesota after being acquired in a trade with ...
