High-scoring forward expected back for camp

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- San Jose Sharks forward Marco Sturm had surgery Monday on his broken left leg and dislocated ankle and will miss the remainder of the season.

Sturm, San Jose's second-leading scorer with 41 points, was injured in the Sharks' loss last week to Colorado. Avalanche defenseman Adam Foote drove Sturm feet-first into the boards while both players chased the puck.
