NCAA's new wave of thirty-somethings

Some things seem to last forever. Like NCAA Tournament television timeouts, or Chris Duhon's college career.

And some things seem to be over as soon as they start. Like the Youthful Genius coaching movement that had former 1980s glamour-boy players like Billy Donovan, Steve Alford, Matt Doherty and Quin Snyder taking over college hoops.

Look around Bracketville today and those guys are pretty scarce, with only Donovan making an appearance. Instead you will see a new wave of Young Strivers ...
