San Jose Sharks: Vincent Damphousse nearly joined the exodus of high-paid San Jose players last year, but the Sharks are grateful today to still have the veteran center. His regular season numbers were down, but Damphousse has raised his game in the playoffs with three assists in two games.

St. Louis Blues: Looking at the Blues lineup, it's incredible that they have just one goal while dropping the first two games to San Jose. But for all the talent on St. Louis, timely scoring has been a troublesome problem all season.

Dallas Stars: Dallas has lost just once in its past 19 home games (14-1-4-0), but the Stars need more than a change of scenery to change their luck against the Colorado Avalanche, who lead their series 2-0. "We're going to have to be more than comfortable. We're going to have to be eager and passionate," Stars goalie Marty Turco told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
