Tampa Bay Lightning: Lightning center Vincent Lecavalier calls it a dream come true to face his hometown Montreal Canadiens in the second round of the playoffs. Just so his postseason doesn't turn into a nightmare, Lecavalier needs to lead Tampa Bay by playing like the franchise player he's supposed to be.

Detroit Red Wings: Curtis Joseph lost the goaltending battle with Miikka Kiprusoff and Game 1 to the Calgary Flames on Thursday night. But the Detroit Red Wings netminder did all his team expected him to do, except win.

San Jose Sharks: San Jose's Alyn McCauley didn't get any points in his first playoff action since Game 1 against St. Louis in the first round, but the two-way center made a big impact. He helped set up Scott Hannan's goal that gave the Sharks a 3-0 lead over Colorado and received some whacks from Colorado goalie David Aebischer.
