Rule should give teams more flexibility

There are two conditions on Major League Baseball's bereavement rule that need some tweaking.

Baseball's bereavement rule is in place to help players deal with family emergencies, and while that is definitely a good thing the rule needs some tweaking.

The rule states that players can leave the team in the event of a death in the family, but there are two conditions on the rule that need some changing.
