Here are some of the most notable statistical matchups to help you prepare your Week 13 lineups:
San Francisco at St. Louis: Even though he has struggled this season, RB Kevan Barlow matches up well in Week 13 against the 31st-ranked Rams rush defense. He has earned 485 all-purpose yards and two TDs in seven career games against the Rams, fairly healthy totals for a player who wasn't a clear-cut starter in his first three seasons. ... WR Isaac Bruce has more receptions (93) and receiving yards (1,434) against the 49ers than vs. any other club. Since 2000, he has caught 52 passes for 846 yards and three TDs in nine games against the 49ers, who have allowed the fifth-most passing TDs this season (21). Bruce is worth using in Week 13 even with a healthy Torry Holt around.
Buffalo at Miami: QB Drew Bledsoe has averaged 201.2 passing yards with a 9-to-12 TD-to-interception ratio in his last nine games against the Dolphins. Miami's has the league's top-ranked secondary (167.7), so avoid Bledsoe in Week 13. ... RB Willis McGahee recorded his first 100-plus rushing yard performance in Week 6 against the Dolphins and has reached the century mark in five of his last seven games. He could explode against the 29th-ranked Dolphins rush defense (136.6). ... The Dolphins' defense has been a turnover-grabbing machine in its last three games against the Bills, racking up 11 sacks, four interceptions and three fumbles recovered. If your league doesn't penalize for points allowed, Miami is a decent option.
