SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The AHL suspended two coaches on Monday for 10 games each for their roles in a bench-clearing, 10-minute brawl during a weekend game.
Four players from the Lowell Lock Monsters and Norfolk Admirals received shorter suspensions. The two coaches, nine players and both teams were fined for the brawl that broke out moments after the end of the first period of Lowell's 5-1 road victory Saturday night.
