Terrell Owens' ankle injury, which will sideline him for the final two regular-season games and perhaps the entire postseason, has Eagles fans riding a wave of panic as they anticipate another potential playoff disappointment. Can Donovan McNabb and the passing game get this team to Jacksonville on Feb. 6? Or will the Eagles, winners of 35 regular-season games from 2001-03, instead fall prey to their fourth straight conference championship defeat? Hey, wait a minute ... what about us fantasy owners? It's nice to have the luxury of thinking ahead to the NFL postseason, and the Eagles have surely earned that honor having already wrapped up the NFC's best record and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. But if you're one of the many fantasy football faithful who has postseason games of his or her own to prepare for this and next week, the last thing we want to see is a team already thinking about football in January when there are still two important games -- or, at least, important to us -- to be played.
