Editor's note: ESPN analyst Ron Jaworski went into his film vault to take a look at the Colts-Chargers game.

The San Diego Chargers' defense isn't equipped to shut down Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts, but it can slow them down. Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips has this team playing a 3-4, but the Chargers play a "deep shell", which means they try to keep everything in front of them. They try their best not to give up the big, explosive play. That's a great idea to have going into a game against such a dangerous offense.
