Fantasy Dozen: Late observations, looking ahead

A star is rising in San Diego: While much attention surrounds Antonio Gates, Drew Brees and LaDainian Tomlinson, Eric Parker has quietly and effectively raised his stock for next season. Parker scored and sailed past the 100-yard mark in the same game for the second time in three weeks on Sunday. Parker finishes the season against the Chiefs, another clear opportunity to build more credibility with the fantasy crowd as the season comes to a close. Parker is sneaky quick, has good hands, and will be a very interesting late-round pick in 2005.
