Man said he's half-brother of 'Iranian Hercules'
TEHRAN, Iran -- A man with an uncanny resemblance to Iran's best-loved Olympic champion has been arrested for making $705,000 in scams by pretending to be the gold-medalist's brother, a newspaper said on Wednesday.
The Iran daily showed a photograph of a man who looked like "Iranian Hercules" Hossein Rezazadeh.
Hailed as "the world's strongest man," Rezazadeh smashed the world super-heavyweight weightlifting record to win gold in Sydney in 2000 and repeated the feat in Athens.
