This is a great honor to be recognized by the Hall of Fame for my career. I'm completely humbled by this entire process and am just glad that I was given the opportunity to play the game of football on such a high level for a great franchise.

Being nominated to the hall was somewhat surprising to me. I remember when I was getting ready to graduate from high school and not expecting to get a shot to play at the collegiate level. I was prepared to go on to a "regular" job and cheer on the people who were lucky enough to live out the dream. Now I'm being mentioned with some of my childhood heroes and some truly outstanding players as well as some former teammates.

My greatest memory from my career has to be after we won Super Bowl XXIX against the San Diego Chargers. After the game the team was kneeling for the Lord's prayer in the locker room before the media was let in. We just sat there and looked at each other for five minutes and let it all sink in. It may have only been for five minutes, but it's one of my most cherished memories because that was the moment where it just starting to sink in that all the work we'd put in that season had come to fruition. We knelt there and didn't say a word; everything that needed to be said was said on the field. I'll never forget that moment for the rest of my life.
