Farewell, Hunter

Woody Creek neighbor Bob Beattie remembers the loyal guy across the street.

Bob Beattie was the Head Alpine Coach for the U.S. Ski Team from 1961-69, and coached the first two U.S. men, Billy Kidd and Jimmie Heuga, to win medals in the Winter Olympics, in 1964. Beattie also covered skiing for "Wide World of Sports" and in the 1976, 1980, and 1984 Winter Games. He has lived across the street from HST since 1976.
