Even while the baseball exhibition season begins, this is no time for fantasy football owners to be distracted. There is simply too much going on, with major deals and signings announced even before the impending free agency period that opens Wednesday. In the midst of veteran turnaround, the scouting combine seemed to be more under the microscope than ever this past weekend. Dedicated fantasy owners watched intently as the workouts for 2005 rookies were televised and broken down by many experts nationwide. Shortly after the Randy Moss trade announcement, the Panthers cut last season's NFL-leading receiver in yardage and touchdowns, Muhsin Muhammad. The Bears didn't wait long to add Muhammad, and if he couldn't return to Carolina, joining the Bears is a good fit for him. Muhammad, who was in a contract year in 2004, will likely never come close to 1,405 yards and 16 TDs again.
