Borislow finds his Derby prospect

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. -- Owner-breeder Daniel Borislow has purchased a majority interest in Wild Desert, who will make his 3-year-old debut in Saturday's Grade 2 Fountain of Youth Stakes here. Wild Desert is trained by Ken McPeek. Borislow, who sold the majority of his breeding stock at Keeneland's Fasig Tipton November mixed sale because of problems with the Internal Revenue Service, did not reveal the details of the sale but said former owner David Gessler Jr. retained a minor interest in ...
