CARSON, Calif. -- Great Britain capitalized on a tight formation and claimed the men's team sprint over The Netherlands in the last of three finals Thursday night in the opening session of the Track Cycling World Championships.
Chris Hoy, Jason Quelly and Jamie Staff, who posted the fastest qualifying time earlier in the night, came in at 44.379 seconds, an average speed of 37.79 mph on the 250-meter track.
