North Carolina's Badin Lake

When it comes to the bass lakes in the Piedmont section of North Carolina, High Rock Lake is the undisputed king.

Home to three past Bassmaster Classics and the fishing birthplace of such notable anglers as David Fritts, David Wright and Gerald Beck, High Rock has received far more publicity than any other Tar Heel impoundment.

Most fishing fans might not realize that there are other lakes in the Yadkin River chain - Tuckertown, Badin, Falls and Tillery.
