D-Backs honor Cubs in more ways than one
PHOENIX -- One of the oddest and oddly charming ceremonial first pitches on Opening Day was at Bank One Ballpark. It's not enough that a full house had to endure the liberal sprinkling of Cubs fans throughout the stands, but the Diamondbacks' selection to throw out the first pitch was the Cubs' newly minted Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg.
