Miller makes hopeful first impression

Positive pitching news has been hard to come by for the Boston Red Sox this season. Just five weeks into the regular season, the team already has placed 40 percent of its planned starting rotation – David Wells and Curt Schilling – on the disabled list. But on a gloomy Sunday, a ray of hope emerged. Wade Miller, making his first major league appearance since last June, showed signs that he may be a big contributor to the ailing rotation.
