Indians CF Lofton has torn rotator cuff, needs surgery

CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- Cleveland Indians center fielder Kenny Lofton could be sidelined until the All-Star break with a torn rotator cuff.

The Indians received the bad news on Tuesday, when orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews confirmed the diagnosis of team orthopedist Dr. Lou Keppler, who discovered the tear.
