Astros re-sign free agent RHP Doug Henry

HOUSTON (Ticker) -- The Houston Astros kept a member of their bullpen today, agreeing to terms with veteran righthander Doug Henry on a one-year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed for Henry, who was a free agent after earning $725,000 with the Astros last season.

The 35-year-old Henry, an eight-year veteran, posted a 2-3 record with a 4.65 earned run average in 35 games for Houston in 1999. He appeared in two games in the National League Division Series against Atlanta ...
