New deal worth $17.65 million

The Houston Texans on Tuesday agreed to a contract extension with linebacker Kailee Wong through 2009, ESPN.com has confirmed.

Wong, 29, is coming off a career season in which he flashed great versatility, with 95 tackles, 5 sacks, 39 quarterback pressures, three interceptions, two passes defensed and one fumble recovery.
