In one of the best sports sponsorship tie-ins I've ever seen, Home Depot is offering 10 percent off bricks in honor of Tony Stewart, the driver it sponsors, after he won the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard last Sunday in Indianapolis. The ad, which shows Stewart doing the traditional kissing of the bricks, reads, "Finally, someone who loves bricks as much as we do."

It appeared in USA Today on Thursday and will appear in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Indianapolis Star and Charlotte Observer on Friday.

Two thumbs up for Home Depot for actually doing something with its sponsorship. It's not good enough to have the logo and paint scheme on Stewart's car.
