Jon, San Francisco: My two starting running backs, Domanick Davis and Willis McGahee, are playing each other in the season opener. Should this have any effect on me starting both of them in week one of my fantasy league? Should I start a backup instead of Davis or McGahee? Engel: Just because your two RBs play against each other doesn't mean they both can't have good games. Both should get a regular workload, and if the game is close, both players could fare quite well. One RB should outplay the other based on which team performs better, but you easily could get similar performances if they were facing other teams. Unless it's a blowout win for one team, you have little to be concerned about. Both teams will get their fair share of possessions, and both players will get a lot of touches.
