It could be the worst endorsement flap of all time: According to the Sunday Mirror in London (not the most reliable of journalism sources), adidas' biggest endorser, David Beckham, apparently went into a Nike store in Las Rozas, Spain, where Real Madrid trains, to buy shoes for his three sons. The paper quotes a store insider as saying that Beckham has been in the store at least three times and that store employees were shocked to see him purchase shoes with swooshes on them. "David was in the shop and he did buy some of our goods," store owner Borja Cendra told the paper. "He is sponsored by adidas but that doesn't stop him buying our products for other people."
