New practice rules benefit players in various ways
The big winners of the new NCAA rule allowing full-team offseason workouts are the players.
Although everyone loves to play, I, like so many of my teammates, hated the monotony of everyday practice without a game in sight.
After three weeks of workouts, everything becomes a grind. No play is easy to run, since the defense knows everything you are trying to do. I got through each practice by trying not to look at the clock for the first hour and a half.
