"Michelle Wei" apparently is going to announce her future plans on Wednesday. As to who "Michelle Wei" is, I have no idea! In a press release to announce the satellite coordinates for Wednesday's conference with 15-year-old golfing phenom Michelle Wie, her surname was misspelled in the e-mail's subject line. I did, however, find Michelle Wei in Flushing Meadows, N.Y., Des Moines, Iowa, Hayward, Calif., and Buffalo Grove, Ill. I also pulled up more than 600 hits on Google for "Michelle Wei" and "golf." Publications that have spelled her name incorrectly include PGATour.com and Golf Digest India.

Bo Jackson Still Huge:
Go to www.baseball-reference.com and the players listed as having similar careers to Bo Jackson are Nick Esasky, Ron Kittle, Dan Pasqua and Gary Roenicke. Jackson's football career yielded a total of 2,782 yards and 18 touchdowns. But Jackson, who became famous from those "Bo Knows" Nike commercials, is still one of the most popular autograph signers in all of professional sports. This weekend, Jackson far and away had the largest line at the Tri-Star Productions show in Cleveland. He signed about 1,100 autographs, though word is that he didn't want to sign any "Bo Knows" items, telling fans he thought it was too arrogant. The most popular Indians player was Grady Sizemore, who signed about 500 pieces. Former Indians player Cory Snyder signed for free.

Cadillac Signs With … Duh … Cadillac?
Carnell "Cadillac" Williams has signed with a group of Cadillac dealers in the Tampa, Fla., area, according to the Tampa Tribune. In exchange for an SLR Roadster, the Bucs rookie running back will appear at some of the car brand's functions. How Tiger Woods doesn't have a deal with Tiger Airways, an airline from Singapore, is beyond me.
