Sharks recall goalie with Nabokov hurt

The Sharks recalled goalie Nolan Schaefer from their AHL affiliate in Cleveland on Saturday night.

Starter Evgeni Nabokov was hurt in a collision with Sharks defenseman Christian Ehrhoff in Friday's loss at Columbus. With Nabokov expected to be out until next weekend with an undisclosed upper-body injury, Schaefer will back up Vesa Toskala, who played in the Sharks' 2-1 loss at Nashville earlier Saturday.

Schaefer is 1-2-0 with a 3.01 goals-against average for Cleveland this season.
