Evans released after six games with Dolphins
Fifth-year veteran Heath Evans, who started all three games this year in which the Miami Dolphins used a formation that included a fullback, has been released.
Evans was informed of the move on Sunday, as he was putting up shutters before the arrival of Hurricane Wilma at his home in the Palm Beach area. One of the reasons that Evans had signed with the Dolphins as an unrestricted free agent in the spring was the team's proximity to his boyhood home.
