A daily glance inside the numbers from the world of sports:

NBA

• The NBA had a pair of last-second game-winning field goals on Saturday night: Pau Gasol's left-handed layup gave the Grizzlies an 85-84 win in Atlanta, and Mo Williams's three-pointer provided the Bucks with a 103-102 win over the Pacers.

It's the first time in NBA regular-season play since Dec. 28, 2000 that, on one day, there have been two game-winning field goals bringing teams from a deficit to a win in the last second of the fourth quarter or an overtime period. The last time that it happened, Portland's Damon Stoudamire defeated Utah in overtime, and Boston's Milt Palacio hit a three-pointer to beat New Jersey.
