Figgins, Angels agree to 3-year, $10.5M extension

Chone Figgins of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim has reached agreement with the club on a three-year, $10.5 million contract extension, avoiding salary arbitration.


Figgins, 27, hit .290 with eight homers and 57 RBI in 158 games last season. He led the American League with 62 stolen bases while playing second base, third base and shortstop and all three outfield positions.
