Reds break off trade talks with Mariners for Griffey

ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- If Ken Griffey Jr. has a new home next season, it will not be in Cincinnati.

Reds general manager Jim Bowden said today he has broken off trade talks with the Seattle Mariners regarding Griffey, the superstar outfielder who has asked to be traded to a team closer to his Orlando, Florida home.
