Winter meetings conclude with Griffey staying put

ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- Baseball's winter meetings wrap up today just as they started -- with Ken Griffey Jr. a member of the Seattle Mariners.

Late Monday night, the superstar outfielder who has asked to be traded to a team closer to his Orlando, Florida home, turned down a deal that would have sent him to the New York Mets.
