Man who attacked Royals coach on field back in jail
CHICAGO -- William Ligue, the man who attacked a Kansas City Royals coach during a Chicago White Sox game, has been returned to jail on a probation violation.
Cook County Court Associate Judge Joseph M. Claps ruled Friday that Ligue violated his probation when he was charged in April 2004 with breaking into a car in suburban Harvey.
Ligue was ordered held on $400,000 bond Friday, said Cook County state's attorney's office spokeswoman Marcy Jensen.
