Gilbert's griping backfires
It seemed amazing that Arenas wasn't aware that the company was planning to roll out his signature shoe later this year with a full-blown advertising campaign. His agent, Dan Fegan, said there's a reason why his client didn't know about the state of things.
"We still weren't done negotiating, and I was waiting until it was done to surprise Gilbert with the company's commitment to him," Fegan said. "Well, it obviously backfired."
