Brown optimistic about life without Vince Young

Texas has to replace QB Vince Young and fill a number of other key holes this spring -- and Mack Brown is excited about that challenge.

AUSTIN, Texas -- The banquets and parades are over. Memories of lighting the school tower and a trip to the White House are in the past for Texas coach Mack Brown after delivering his school's first undisputed national championship in 36 years.

Less than two months after his team's stunning comeback victory over Southern California in the Rose Bowl, the Longhorns return to the practice fields Monday.
