Why we love Arnie

Dashing, talented, fearless, fallible. Arnold Palmer was -- and is -- everything you or I would like to be on a golf course. And it's because of that last characteristic that he is beloved like no other player in the game's history.

The Bay Hill Invitational is undergoing yet another name change next year (Nestle, Hertz, Florida Citrus have all come before) but this time to something less corporate, more permanent and, ultimately, more appropriate: the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
