Seahawks promote Marshall to D-coordinator
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Veteran assistant coach John Marshall, who assumed the role of Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator in 2005 after Ray Rhodes suffered two mild strokes, has been officially elevated full-time to the position by coach Mike Holmgren.
Rhodes, hired as coordinator in 2003, will serve as a consultant for the 2006 season.
