Trolling slow, shallow key to early-season trout

Trollers are simply able to cover more water than shoreline bait dunkers.

Early in the trout season, trolling is a sure way to increase catch rates.

Allowing themselves to locate more active trout, trollers are simply able to cover more water than shoreline bait dunkers. Nonetheless, wintry early season conditions will force trollers to adjust their techniques to increase success.
