MLB • The Braves hit five home runs in their 14-5 win over the Cardinals on Tuesday night, giving them 23 homers over their past six games, a National League record. The previous league high for homers over a six-game span was 22, by the 1954 Giants and the 1999 Reds. The major league record is 24, set by the Red Sox in 1977.
