Prepare for a flood of deals

The days of getting five prospects for a Vida Blue or Tom Seaver are long gone, and last year, general managers seemed taken aback by the core change in the trade market. Good young players are now worth more than established veterans, because of where they fall on the salary scale. But now the general managers are adjusting, and we are seeing a lot more trade activity this year -- and it sounds like there will be a lot more to come before Monday's 4 p.m. deadline.
